I don't know why, but in the other(non spawn controlled) maps, it's really difficult to hit anything across the map. I played the DevilsLair thingy, and i tried to shoot stationary target like 7-8 times and didn't hit... Maybe it was because of the ping or something, but that is messed...

I'll be back when you get the ghillies set up...

On that map your gun even twitches a little. I hope I can get some more sniper maps soon.

I have seen some more regular maps that I like now so I will work on setting up another server for TDM. About 4 maps that look good enough so far. I hate the small maps like Shipment and smoe of the new maps are smaller than that.

If anyone can point me in the direction of a link or info on how to set up the ghillie camo that would be great. I can't find the proper names for them so I can put it in the server.cfg.

Air strikes and Choppers will be shut off as for the other non sniper kits.

Perth, Austrailia? I'm not sure but the server is located in Dallas, Texas. There is only one way to find out.

The server is down right now and won't be back up untill tonight. Having some issue with pb/pbbans at the moment. Something messing up as PBBans is down at the moment due to an attack. I have to reinstall pb on that server and set the CFG's up etc etc.

You could open your command prompt and enter, "ping -n 10 72.36.170.123"

I think I will add this to the server as well.

All sniper rifles for cod4 in version Long range.

These files are necesary for snipers servers
More distance, more zoom and more damage (one shot one kill).
It's configured with no penetrating bullets and non semi-auto firing (one shoot only)

My apologies for the repost as I put this in another thread related to maps/mods, but this topic is also appropriate to spread the news:

Just an FYI for those wondering...although they are of different quality levels, there are over 20 custom maps out already. One fellow has even managed to convert (except the mini-map, still working on that) the SP map "Blackout" to MP (which bodes well for other SP-to-MP conversions).

When it comes to playing modded servers it has always worked for me that i get a separate ranking system and i go up in rank from the start, but only from THAT server.

I remember because i spent my first few hours of play on one server without realizing it was ranked and i had to start my stats over on other normal ranked servers.

New map on this server.
It is called the village and it looks like the first sp map. Its big and has a good mixture. I also made a new TDM New Maps server running 7 maps. I will work on the server.cfg tomorrow night, sorry for the delay.

I also removed Devils Lair from the sniper server.

TDM Maps:
Warehouse, Burck, ogjunkyard, village, Camp, Fence and the New Subway.

The server.cfg is now finnished. The sniper server is class restricted to snipers only. As for the ghillie suits, this is still not resolved. Codutility is working on a solution to this problem so I hope to have it resolved soon.

I have added the updated Airbase and Village maps to the sniper sever!!!
