    Query about Overkill

Overkill gives you two primary weapons, so why would you have to load some of your secondary weapons? aka pull the slide before you can fire
Eg: You have to load the AK and MP44, but not the m16(for secondary weapon remember)

Thanks if you can answer this

I've never had to load anything, just pull it out and it's good to go.

i think he means 'why should you have to **** your secondary weapon before use' maybe i dunno.

its happened to me with the aks for some reason, if its my secondary or i pick a second up. 50% of the time i select it my character always flippin cocks it like its just been reloaded -but it has not. wastes time which has got me killed.

at least that is what i think he is on about...

that's what I gathered since he spells it out pretty plainly, do you have to pull the slide / chamber before you can start shooting.

The answer for me is no, I can fire off a few rounds with the m16 and then switch on the fly to the mp5 for full auto suppression. Some people do seem to experience the chambering animation even when it's not needed / intended, so I guess in the long run the answer is...yes and no, it might have to chamber for you, but it's not supposed to.

If I'm catching this right, you shouldn't have to chamber if you reload in the middle of a mag, since your weapon loads a cartridge into the chamber and when you toss that mag a bullet from the previous mag is still in there. I'm guessing that this is how it works in game. Perhaps if you fire out your whole mag then reload you get a chambering animation?

I have used the G3, P90, and AK-74u as my secondary weapons with OverKill and the first time I switch to that gun after spawning it always does the end of the reload animation where he chambers the first round. The same one you get if reload after firing a whole clip.

Not sure why really. Most of the time when I use a kit with OverKill, the first thing I do is switch to my secondary weapon anyway, so it's never been an issue.

Yeah, on some weapons you have to pull the slide. Can you tell me why on some weapons and not on others?

I for one miss the loading graphic, that of charging the weapon before using it.
