Best weapon for ambushing with stun grenades

Hey guys, i've been experimenting with different weapons to use in conjunction with the Stun Grenades. so far i've only tested the SMG's. I've found that if you can time your SG throws right you can toss a few and rush in and get at least one knife and a couple rifle kills if you can move fast enough. if someone's coming in into the same bldg as you, throw the grenade, turn away, turn back and knife them. This tactic works awesome on almost every weapon kit because they can't move their crosshair fast enough to shoot you when you go to knife them.

So far i've found that the mp5 is the best of the lot because it has more power than the p90 but sometimes It just doesnt have enough power to kill someone who runs behind cinderblocks or something like that.

Does anyone else have any experience using the stun grenades with any other weapons and getting success?

I find the shotguns work well. If they're in range to be hit by the stun, they're in range to be hit by a shotty.

Personally, I use flashbangs though. If the enemy is already watching the door you're entering from they can still hit you. Variable DPI mice reduce the slowing effect. And because I think IW made stuns a bit too good, they produce a pretty good flash that half blinds you anyway and they last so frikken long. This makes them over used, and I like to be original.

i use 3 stuns and my auto shotgun and hide behind a barrel (put your crouch on so you have to hold it) you can do this bobing affect that works well on new guys to the game
but the hardened vets just shoot through:laugh:

i doubt i'd see myself using a shotty with the stun nades because what happens if you run out of em or you're caught in the open? you're dead meat and you cant defend yourself. I need a weapon with at least some range so if someone tries to catch me from a range i can still take them out.

EDIT: i think i will try my kit with flashes to see how well i do compared to the stun nades.

If youre getting very close to the target in the process, try using the Scorpion, with the ACOG sights for extended range. The weapon packs a 50HP damage punch, which is above MP5s 40. But it lacks range. After just a few metres, the damage rate falls to 20.

There really isn't a "bad" weapon to use with stun 'nades in my experience. Used in conjuntion with an already deadly CQB weapon (insert weapon of choice,) you can easily take down multiple opponents at once.

Used with typically longer ranged weapons like the LMG or Sniper rifles, it lets give you an edge in CQB where you are normally at a loss.

So depending on how you use them, they're either a force multiplier, or an equalizer.

Maybe you know this but the way you worded it made it seem not, but the ACOG doesn't statistically change your range. It only says that on the bar since it zoom a bit.

G36C does not sway with the acog, personally i dont like to see stun nade tatics, for me its like sayin, "im too **** to kill you when you can see me", just feels like that, still though we all use them.

P90 is pretty versatile in many situations, this is another one that it does.

No I didnt know that. So the ACOG does not push the maximum damage range further?

YOu can blind them with smoke and chuck a nade in...
