BF2 Won't Start at all!

It wont launch wont even come up with battefield 2 launch!
It used to work, but u ALLWAYS had to have the disc in it when u started the computer.
When it worked, somtimes the computer didnt start up properly
I have uninstalled it recently and now it wont even come up to install, i have also tryed manually doing so.
Now if i put the disc in and start the computer, the computer will NOT start, i tryed numeras times trying to do so.
I DO have all the system requirements.

I have tryed:
Deleting Xfire
Trying a Different Disc, Same Result
Putting my disc in a different computer, Disc is fine!
Getting Someone with good computer skills to come have a look
Updating my Graphics Driver

I have no Viruses or anything
other games stil work
and i duno if this matters but its Dvd Rom (yes i do have a Dvd Driver)

Please if u have anyinformation on how to help i would b extremely gratefull,

Have you tried cleaning the lense on your cd/dvd drive ?

put yur disk in, go to mycomputer, is your drive reading the CD??? does it also have a pic of BF2 in that drive icon?

:shakeheadWell i put in the disc to see if the icon came up and no it did not, but it did freeze my comp from opening My Computer, i had it open then i closed it, then i tryed to close somtin else and it didnt close
but wen i take it out
my comp goes fine:nod:
