Bomb Squad?

can someone please tell me what bomb squad actually does, because im intersted to know if it would be useful or not

It shows a skull over explosives (C4/Claymores).

So, before you enter a room, you can tell if there's a claymore around the corner.

It's invaluable when you have to value your life in matches such as S&D during the attacking phase.

Aerialz is right, but I tend to stay away from that perk.

C4 doesn't get used very often in my experience and the claymores have nice red lines you can watch out for.

Yeah, I don't use it either... mainly for the reasons VT_Nerd mentioned.

Common sense and situational awareness normally compensate for the perk.

It's saved my *** many times before, especially if you like rushing. Invaluable on S&D matches and Headquarters where you get people camping and throwing claymores around.

Just one person on a team with Bomb Squad can save the whole one if you communicate. It makes you very appreciated when you keep a teammate from running into a mine.

I know you can shoot them, but if you set up a clay and then run to the other side of the map you can still hear the click of when it goes off, letting you know where the enemy is.

If you had bomb squad you could silently defuse and add a real stealth factor to your kit.

Maybe if you stand nearby the explosive for a set amount of time, it'll auto-defuse.

i just think you should get a bar like in sabotage or search and destroy, if you get interrupted during the defuse the bomb will go off.

Never really found much use for it, If i get killed by C4/Claymore then i blame myself for lack of awareness.

Only slot 1 perk i use is Bandoleer, its on all my kits.

Useful in S&D, but quite pointless in other game types.
