Shutting down, have you?

I've been having loads of CTD issues lately, and Shutting down and then booting back up Made them dissapeer. I find that sort of odd, but if anyone else is having troubles (I know someone is) try just shutting down if you haven't already.

you might try testing your ram with memtest86. download the .iso, burn to cd and boot it. 1 full run should take about 60+ minutes.

I'm just telling other that Booting down helps.

That's a band-aid, not a solution.

How about you try troubleshooting the underlying problem instead.

Actually, sounds like a broken driver. Shutting down clears the RAM which can sometimes contain corrupt data such as node addresses.

That's most likely the reason why the CTD's stopped.
