    G Man = Gordon Freeman?

I've been reading a few posts online, about the possibility that G-Man is Gordon Freeman.

First of all, the name. Gordon Freeman. Gordon Freeman.

Second of all, it is only the player who speaks to G Man. No one apart from the Vortigaunts can sense G-Mans presence.

So, its leading me to think maybe, G Man is Freeman or maybe Freeman's father or something, and his actions are serving as a warning for the events of EP3.

Actually, the name Gman simply comes from a file in the first Halflife that contained the data about this mysterious guy. Noone knows his real name, or if it's just a random filename and has nothing to do with Gordon at all.

Didn't Alyx's father tell Gordon that he saw the "Gman" in HL2:EP1? I think I heard it somewhere but I could be wrong.

Haven't played all the games so I don't know what I'm talking about really :p

Not to mention that G-Man communicated with Alyx as well... In EP2 when she is almost dead, he tells her to tell her father to "expect unforseen consequences" or something.

I haven't played HL1, so I don't know the whole backstory, but I don't think that the name indicates a relationship between Freeman the Gman.

Yeah, because maybe he was warning off her of the events to come.

Maybe G-Man, can communicate with someone on an unconcious level apart from Gordon.

I seem to remember from EP2 (or was it EP1? I can't remember, lol) that Eli tried to tell Gordon about something along the lines of g-man or related stuff.

              right?

That seems to make the most sense.

Yes it was EP2 but he dies before you get to talk to him.
