Several months ago, when all these site wars began between communities, we had people from other sites come in and want to participate. There are two concerns here.

A). You can have one side accuse the other side of bringing ringers that might play in some tournament play.
B). This is supposed to represent the family that has been together on this site for months; whether the person is a lurker, an tech-support geek, or an off-topic contributor, we still want to know that the people that know each other best get can stand with their fellow members and defend their reputation.

If it comes down to the wire, and I have your X-fire, and someone is not showing, there is a chance that we can fill you into a roll for someone that is a no show. But you have to understand, that veterans of TGN will get first crack at aircraft.

We are typically a good group here that does not often outright start flaming off the bat to someone new. But in a thread like this, where people are testy about the reputation and somewhat protective, I hope you can understand why you are meeting resistance.

Hang out, and if there is another one of these matches that show up in a few months, we can put you in the A-list line. But no-one has come to me through a PM to ask if we can vet people that are not valued members of our community.

If it comes down to it, maybe we can build a Squad E for a secondary site...but you have to understand, that will come down to a vote amongst TGN members. And who knows how we will feel about it.

Count me in, I've been a lurker here for 2 years and usually don't post anything but I'd be happy to play for total bf2.

I'm extremely efficient with Engineer, Medic, Special Ops, and highly efficient with Assault and Support. I'm great for any type of infantry situation but I excel in armor working with a moderate sized squad. I can also solo or 2 man squad the ***** flags extremely well.
