    Oman has sniper haven..
    Dragon has a GOOD infantry...

J10 and F35 just battle, and since the J10s just care about Carrier rape, getting in a Heli on Dragon .. you can have some great fun

Also on Dragon, theres always a squad going after flags. I got 174 on that map once, no jet or heli pure Hummer and capping flags :)

Two reasons, easiest to get points, the draw distance due the fog limits visibility and makes for the closest possible engagements.

The ranked system, as someone previously mentioned it's partly due to the need for some to accrue points like they're running out over at EA.

Infanty Only - The Lowest common denominator; Meaning no need for newbs to learn any vehicles. Once you've learned you gun you're good to go(like taking basic training and being flung into a war). Additionally, there's no need to worry about someone who has put 100's of hours into a tank or a helo, jet, etc.

meh, I'm a bit of a noob to BF2 (only just got sergeant). Soon as I heard of I/O I was turned off, still gave it a try though and it was as rubbish as I thought it would be. Call me boring but I like to know that the few points I do have I have earned.

Aside from that the appeal of BF2 for me was the whole package...that includes vehicles. To me if you're playing I/O you're only playing half the game.

But ho hum, that's just my opinion. Each to their own I guess :)

Just couldn't have said it better. IO is and will always be just pretty much legal stadpad. EOD.

              I lol'd when he said Karkland :P

Anyways, its pretty obvious, everyone has become a point whore wanting to rank up, i prefer Gulf of Oman, Kubra dam, and only Karkand if it has vehicles and dosnt have 64 people

Karkand I/O is a nice change of pace from the otherwise pretty "slow" gameplay in larger maps (which are more fun too imo except for being jet raped every time I get in a tank)...

BF2 is at it's best with vehicles.

It's a decent groundpounding map for people who can't cope with anything else. I'm not surprised it makes up nearly half of all active servers.

You don't need TWO freaking horrible-looking PR sigs. One is more than enough.
