Ok the map loads up fine, I click join game and this loads I can see people running arround the level but the mouse pointer is greyed out in the center of the screen and wont move. This problems been happening to me everytime I attempt to play, can anyone help? System requirements are fine and yes I have tried re installing and redownloading all latest patches.

If you go into options>controls you can click the reset button.
Otherwise just delete the Battlefield 2142 folder in My Documents, but make sure you know your account name and password. -

Try Natt's remidy first. I had already reinstalled, but did not manual uninstall. SO, my settings where not cleared. reset your control settings before trying the manual uninstall/install. mouse freeze seems to be with that. resetting Natt's way fixed it for me. But, yes, KrazyKilla's link will do the job long way around too. Also that site is very nice for other thingys.
