wow thanks to patch 1.40

Hi everyone. It's been a while since I last played bf2142 so i found that 1.40 is needed, downloaded and installed. Now here is the problem. When i get in a server, any server, after like 30 seconds of staying it kicks me out and this has started to happen after the 1.40 patch. I am never able to play, no chance, the same thing happends in every single server. Thanks to EA for making me pay for this game and not letting me play!!:cussing: Anybody has the same problem?

Any chance that i'll ever be able to play again?

sounds like a punkbuster issue. try updating punkbuster. I only say this cause you said you have not played in awhile. 1.40 has been out for a few months now.

but shouldn't punkbuster update itself automatically when I install the patch? how do I update it individually?

it sometimes does not update automatically so you have to do it manually, try this

btw, does it say anything when it kicks you out? like a message

yes, it only says "Connection to server has been lost". nothing else. thanks for the site, i'll try it.
