    Wanna ping? Take that...

    Ok guys... mmm ... so today for my b-day i buyed the COD4... and wath do you think? 999 PING ))yay::yay::yay::yay::yay: in all server MINIMUM 160 ping even in montreal servers... My ring:

    6200
    1 GB RAm
    AMD 64 +3000 2.0 GHz
    5MB i-net connection Bell CA

    The game ring is not the problem... how i know it? i have 3 friends who has the SAME ring then I ....

    Please i wast 50$ for that S*it ... help me plz!!!!!!

          maybe you need to open your ports in your router. portforward.com
          i dunno if you have to, i opened mine without question :/
          but it's an idea.

            Are we talking ingame ping or browser ping? Because the browser ping is not reliable.

              Ping has nothing to do with your hardware (at least not with your GFX card, CPU or RAM).

                  Dont rely on the browser telling you the correct ping.

                  Check out your firewall and update your driver on your network card.

                  You should be good then.

                      That would be true if the ping value in CoD4 was actually ping. It is actually latency and your hardware and settings do have a considerable effect on your framerate and therefore your latency.
