BF2142 cannot play PLZ HELP MAN (or woman)

Ummm... BF2142 has been working for almost 5 weeks but, Unfortunately yesterday this error has been PISSING ME OFF!!!!. When i click the exe on desktop it shows the busy cursor for like 1sec then it goes bak to my normal cursor. that tells me im f*****. I reinstalled and it still no work. I used AVG and scanned my PC like 3 times and it still no work. PLZ help. :shock:


And I have a popup virus, as i mentioned i have scanned my pc about 3 times
This is also pissing me off.

You could try an online scanner like BitDefender
Also when you uninstall, make sure the Battlefield 2142 folder in My Documents is deleted before re-installing.

I use PrevX2. It is annoying (I normally close it off when I start my computer), but it kills viri extremely effectively. Just DL the trial, it will dispose of the Virus, then you can uninstall it.

As for the starting issues, I don't really know... I would follow Natt's advice and delete your Cache (aka the files in the BF2142 folder located in My Documents).
