Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
With double tap I can empty the magazine of the pump-action in 4,3 seconds
So that's 4 shots at 2 shots/second or 7 shots at 1.6 shots/second. And if I read the tables correct the w1200 does 1/3 more damage, so its the same damage/second but with more shells.
I think I prefer the w1200
But then your first shot doesn't kill even with that 1/3 boost and your second comes too late. Or you're spending your time on that massive reload time and an enemy sneaks up on you. Or you switch to your pistol and don't get the reload bonus of an M1014+SoH. Perhaps you've two targets to engage and need a higher rate of fire, similar to the two shot kill scenario.
Sorry but when it comes to the shotties I'm like a Mormon for the M1014, I want to convert everyone to it.
Plus, unlike the 2142 shotty, the shots from these things actually disappear after a short range and will do no damage at all. It will just barely reach down a hallway in Vacant, for an example.
im having alot of fun with the 1200 right now, but have yet to unlock the 1014 (im lvl 27). currently im using Stopping Power with my shotgun, but is this even needed? or should i use juggernaut?

Use double tap on the 1200 to increase the speed of the slow pump action. Use Sleight of Hand on the 1014 to compensate for the small magazine.

Its a matter of taste, but the Double Tabbed W1200 is not significantly slower than the M1014 and more likely to get a 1-shot kill. I expect to see that probability increase even more when I get a grip for it.
As for the reload time, I can reload the W1200 after four shoots too if I want to, but the large magazine makes it possible to reload when it suits me, and not in the middle of a fight.

Makes no difference to me, I used the Clark a lot but always at CQB.
If a target was outside close range I would just retreat and flank them.
M1014 is significantly faster than the M1200 but you need to hit the keys at a specific interval to maintain the highest ROF. You click too fast, and it shoots slow.

http://chkilroy.com/cod4/ has them as respectively 5 and 2,7 rounds/second, but I find that hard to believe for the W1200 based on my own tests.
Someone said he could empty the M1014 in 2 seconds, how fast can you do it with the correct timing?
Anyway the W1200 is fast enough for me with doubletap.
This thread got me thinking and I decided to give the shotties a go.
Personally I don't mind either. I pair up the W1200 with Double Tap and the M1014 with Sleight of Hand. I pick up Steady Aim and 3 Stun nades because as someone pointed out

I can empty M1014 in less then a second. The difference is vast. Even though the stats show little. The extra ammunition the M1200 carries has no meaning if you play tactfully and dont bite more than you can chew. M1014 is the best weapon for Bloc. I have a specific kit for Bloc.
M1014
Sleigh of hand
Deep Impact
3 stun grenades
The only concern is to maneuver yourself into one of the buildings. Once youre in, youre pretty much invincible. You cant maintain the punch with a pump action shotgun unless you have a superb aim. M1014 allows for quite margin of error.

I find that i dont want to increase or decrease the spread of my shotgun so Steady Aim and the Grip are worthless in that respect.
Best perk to increase a shotguns perfomance is the Deep Impact perk. I use the vertical grip for my shotty and it is extraordinarily useful. You pretty much feel no recoil.

I have yet to unlock the grip, but I think I would prefer the spread as tight as possible to increase the chance of a 1-shot kill.

Recoil doesn't bother me with the shotguns, since it is usually only one shot per target. But we will see if I change my opinion when I unlock the grip.
ETA: Does anybody actually use the sights on the shotguns? I have unlocked the Red Dot but have yet to mount it because I always fire from the hip anyway.

The spread stays the same, the recoil is just reduced.
At least, I should hope so because a grip has nothing to do with spread in real life, only recoil. And it certainly feels like recoil is reduced when firing the 1014 at fast rates.
I prefer the M1014 but I'm using the W1200 right now for the headshot challenge, once I get thru with that, I'll have gold shotty/gold desert eagle setup.
