"Serial Number Already In Use"

Hey all,

Today, and several other days, I'm just playing normally on a server. Then I get disconnected from the server.

And it says, when I try and rejoin something, that my serial number is already in use. So I know what this means, and why I can't join. But now my question is how can I fix this? Or do I have to wait for the round to end and a new map to start?

You get disconnected for some other reason (such as poor connection), and when you try and reconnect, it thinks you are still online playing. I believe you have to wait until the end of the round for the server to contact the IW master servers to confirm you are no longer online playing.
