No it doesn't. I can love a game, even if the story-line is on par with Rescue Heroes in terms of complexity and twists.

Too bad the acting was horrible, and the dialogue was sub-par. (If that.)

I'll admit. I'm a Wachowsky fan... The Matrix and V for Vendetta were genre defining, but likewise, Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions were equally as genre ruining. They're hit and miss. We also have to remember that these are the same people who wrote and directed the storyline for such game gems* as "Enter the Matrix" and "The Matrix: Path of Neo"...

I still have nightmares. I try to over-look those flops, merely because V for Vendetta is one of my favorite movies of all time.

    You mean, that crap?
Lets clone some more people! Then we could have an enthralling storyline as good as Dead or Alive 2, 3, 4 and Beach Volleyball! Although nobody except you wants to see Snake in a bikini playing volleyball.

We already knew you were a Playstation fanboi, you don't need to jump into partisan action everytime somebody calls a Playstation game sub-par. "Millions" of fans also happen to have liked Final Fantasy X-2's storyline, despite it's painfully clear plot-twists, bad dialogue, horrific voice acting, and pathetically hilarious (slutty/stupid) character design.

      Lets see.

"These games suck, but Im looking forward to the next installment."

      No contradiction? Right.

      It is.
Spoken like a true fanboi. Welcome to the club.

Amusing, but not unexpected. The acting is great, considering Hayter has to portray a soldier who has to leave everything emotional into background, and show a wooden character. On the flipside, Cam Clarkes counterbalance of an emotionally twisted character is nothing short of brilliant. Dialogue sub par?

Im still laughing my *** off at the "War is serious biznes" part.

Continuation of a franchise is very often hit and miss. People disregard the simple fact that Matrix, as a trilogy, had nowhere else to go but where it went. You could have toyed around with a few specific ingredients, but the result would have no doubt ended the way it did. You will find that the "original", or "first" if successful and groundbreaking, is extraordinarily hard to beat, only a few are able to. Having said that, I enjoyed all of the Matrix movies, as the difference in style and pace between them all has to be accepted. But perhaps, you could rename Matrix into "Matrix 2" and watch the first movie all over again, so you wouldnt be disappointed?

      As for the games.

      Greed, money. Nothing new.

Oh you mean like a futuristic title, where people are settling their differences in armor-ger duels? Where spaceships fly in atmosphere like they were in 0G? With skateboarding armor suit? Lets make some more robots NOW!!!! Looks like a Megaman ripoff.

Oh, sir. But youre mistaken. Im a RE/MGS fanboi, regardless of the platform. I wouldnt be shooting at anyone of it wasnt for an obvious fanboism from your part. Or actually, the opposing end of the spectrum, but you can help me with how to phrase that one out. Its amusing to see you try to give your arguments (or really, just claims or even baseless slurs) some weight by ridiculing a plot device like CLONING. Especially when cloning was a major plot device in The Matrix, which youre calling groundbreaking. Or by making vague claims like "dialogue is bad" or "plot is ridiculous".

Again, while I can admit Im a fanboi, watching you struggle to try to convince youre not, while being a complete hypocrite about the subject, is simply... funny.

      HEAVY GEAR DUEL FOR HONOUR?!?!?!?!?!

As I've said before. You can love a game even if it's story-line sucks. There is more to a game than a bunch of poorly acted cut-scenes with dialogue that makes about as much sense as a rabbit with a pancake glued to it's head.

The only one here who has contradicted his own words, is you.

Sure, or maybe its just simply... too complicated for you? That would be a big surprise, all things considered. So Im going to be sticking with my first guess, that you are just the fanboi, you called out. Because none of what you said goes for MGS, "poorly acted", "no sense", its as accurate as pissing drunk.

I said it was pretty damn good, considering that the real life cutscene I showed earlier was perhaps one of the cheesiest, worst cutscenes ever. Those cutscenes were respectably acted, even though certain themes displayed were certainly cringeworthy. And even though I couldnt agree with a number of things that made little sense, you didnt see me burst in fanboistic flame hate. I would agree if your opinion was based on good arguments, but theres nothing solid, except for "it sux lulz". Considering the huge span of MG storyline, and literally no plotholes in the process, its certainly admiration-worthy. You may not like the theme, but if youre putting your belitteling opinion across, you should expect something in return, if you come off as shallow as a teaspoon.

I'm a fanboi of Heavy Gear? Because I think Metal Gear Solids' FMV's are bad?

            Mmkay.

Yes you did. You even attacked Heavy Gear to get to me.

Yes. I'm the one who is belittling the other's opinions.

I'm not even arguing about the series anymore. I'm more interested in your staunch need to defend a game. You have a nasty habit of going berserk when someone doesn't agree with you.

            Fanboi.

The same thing. Just different ends of the spectrum. As I said, you can help me to find a good word to describe a "raging hating fanboi".

Yes you did. You even attacked Heavy Gear to get to me.
In no more heat than you did, mon cherri.

Just like I said, I have no problem with an opinion, if its not put forward to belittle the others, without any basis, argumentation. Just stupid provocation. Dont flatter yourself. Youre as dirty as a crackhead. Your opinion quite obviously was meant to provoke me.

Im more interested in your urge to offend the game. You have a nasty habbit of provoking people.

Youll notice that fanboys are counterbalanced by the complete opposites. Given their similarity in their "argumentation" (or lack of any) and obsession with the subject (either love or hate), the term "fanboi" suits just great.

Dont be mad at me, just because you havent exactly shown yourself as someone better than a "fanboi". Amusing thing is, youre calling me one.
