There's a lot more to it. Not that I know everything about it, but I imagine there's as much finding hitboxes and timing as there is with regular clicks.

Yes, there were 2 good jet pilots. My team had 2 good jet pilots too, so they really don't have time to go after helis, mostly armor and the jets. That's what happens when the teams are balanced.

Imagine is the key word. Listen, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand there isn't much more to using a macro than point and click. Anyone that has shot a tv in BF2 will attest how much easier it would be if all that was needed was to point and click on the desired target.

Only you don't just point at them. Does it look like I do that in the videos? I make turns into hitboxes at the end of every shot, none of them are just pointing.

Try a macro for a day and tell me it's easy. Please.

I've been screwing around with it on the demo. It's odd at first but since I've used the gunships in 2142 it's not too bad. I was taking out the enemy choppers after 10 minutes and took out a couple jets after an hour. The added TV range in the demo doesn't hurt, but the demo runs on my lame laptop at an almost decent framerate. Not so with the patched full game.

You really have less skill with a macro.
It takes much of the work out of your hands and places it in the outside software program that controls the game for you.

Try doing the same without the macro and come back with your screenshots and videos.

I know you wont do that either, because it may fracture your fragile ego to know that you actually suck using only the tools that came with the game.

In many situations, soloist may perform better than the duo, but teamwork will always beat an indivual player in the end. :salute:

What he fails to understand is that macros takes the mistakes away from the gameplay.

TVing without macros take a lot more finess. Ones timing can easily be thrown of if his click is too fast or too slow. Having a macro nullifies the mistake factor. You are able to make the exact clicks over and over. It lessens any adjustments that need to be made. Evading helo's can be picked off by a quick adjustment of the hand.
