Yes, most of us just use mouse and keyboard. Using a joystick would be a pain overall, and doing soloing with one would suck even more.

WE as in all except for Cynic, fly with mouse and keyboard - I do, Pred does, and I'm sure Sloi does. It's much easier than a stick when seat switching.

However, we also click whilst guiding the missile, rather than letting some macro (Cynic) do it for us. A bragging macro user... of course, it all makes sense now.

I don't macro to get kills in pubs :laugh: there's nobody in pubs that can dodge. It's all about curve shots in matches.

Do that without a Macro and then earn my respect. You pretty much admitted to needing help. Im no gunner but I would hardly call myself one if I needed help to better my abilities. In sports they call that steroids. I can almost guarantee that macros would not be allowed in world tournaments where money is involved.

took me a month to learn to use it properly

I couldn't hit anything over the summer when I started using one.

I had clicked for a year and a half before that and had already won plenty of TWL matches clicking and probably 25,000 pub kills clicking.

I can still click when I feel like it lol.

I've seen OnebadEngineer solo and he was pretty dang good (better than you Cynic but it would be hard to compare), I'll ask him if he macros if I ever see him again which I doubt as I usually play on a no soloing server.

Well I base my experience on that only on two rounds so I could be wrong.
