need help with patch and n/s prob

need help getting my n/s to work again.

was told to try reinstalling patch 1.40 then installing n/s again and then patch 1.40 again but it wont let me install the patch as it comes up with "update failed" all the time when trying this

i need to sort this out as i cant play on any n/s servers as it keeps saying that modified content bs.

any help will be appreciated

Install order

Uninstall completely see the sticky in here, Then BF2142, 1.4, NS, 1.4 installs should sort you out.
