Using my pistol when it'd be okay to bust out the sniper rifle again. I always have my USP out and often try to take on targets that are a bit too far away because I don't want to waste time breaking out the rifle. Often gets me killed, or I'll hit and the person will run away, simply injured.

I take it you are referring to the Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat on computer? Before I saw you were talking about the computer version, I thought you were talking about the X-Box 360 version. I was so confused. :laugh:

Sprinting in the worst possible moments. Even when I know that there`s an enemy right around the corner, I still fuken sprint and get myself killed.

I forget to reload after killing a group of people and then I'll run into another group with 3 bullets.
Sometimes I get caught up looking a the scoreboard.
And I run through doors like Cherni was at the other end of the hall.

Also, reloading while standing in the middle of nowhere after a firefight.

My number 1 mistake that gets me killed is, assuming a teammate is guarding my flank when after the exact moment I looked away he wandered off.

Worst habits though - running over folks that I have killed in my eagerness to 'get some' and getting popped by the martyrdom nade...... grrrrrr

And bouncing nades off edges of doorways after cooking it for 2 secs - oops no time to run away

Funny one last night on a HC server - one of my players done that, and i caught the fecker and blow up in my face as i tried to throw it away - like crazy *** explosive pass the parcel

I can see NoobTubing being a bad habit.. if u are the kinda person that will only use the 2 nades with it and then die... but what do you speak of these noob weapons? and Martydom that is not as bad as last stand... Bunny hopping is just a part of the game I see everyone doing it.. and I really dont think there is a way to camp in cod4.. I mean you will be seen on uav or if you have uav jammer and silencer then i guess you could do some good camping but it will not get you to far... anyway...

My worst habbit is trying to play like others and not stick to my own style cuz it gets me killed.. when i use my style of playing and play how i wanna play and think safe I end up top 3 every game I play or at least the one with the best KD... like tonight I played 4, 20min rounds and I was 1st every game cept for the last.. I was always playing it safe and would think befor running into a firefight but I started trying to do new things and now I say stick with what works.. if it is working right of corse.. and I have my certin guns for some maps.. another thing is I see alot of ppl always using the same gun on every map.. that does not work for me.. well it does but i can get a much beter KD if i use a different gun for a few of the bigger maps.. I pick from M16 ,RPD and P90.. all with Stopping power, grip on my RPD with steady aim bandoler stopping power and steady aim on my M16 and for my P90 I will go bandolier Stoppping power and whatever I feel like as long as it is not Steady aim.. I found steay aim is no good with SMGs... steady aim is just good for ARs and LMGs...

but yeah just remember to stick with what works and think about what you are about to do.. and not copy others gameplay.. what works for one may not work to good for another..

Except, sometimes after playing a round where sneaking around gets you nade spammed, I'll start to play with more run-n-gun style, often making me play worse

mine has got to be, that I'm too afraid of being called a camper so I'm always on the go and my score reflects it. last night I think my best was 9 kills 31 deaths.

Not consistently aiming for the head.

Firing at targets too far away I have no business shooting at. It only gives away my position.

Running into an enemy-infested area, gunning one guy, and jogging out, reloading my weapon only to be shot in the back.

Damn i wish you could sprint reload.
