Just a quick word to say thanks to CptainCrunch for taking the time to make those 2142 How-To videos. He covers each of the kits, and then also throws in a Commander and Basic 2142 vid.

They are great! My commander score went from 36 in the round just prior to watching the How to be a Commander video, to a whopping 141 in a single round! And I have averaged about 110 per round since I watched his video, and have never lost a single round as Commander since (it's only been a few days, but I have won 6 straight whereas I used to lose quite frequently as commander). Too bad it is during the "stats blackout" but doesn't matter, when the stats are again counted, I will be able to duplicate those efforts. I have now watched all his videos, and learned at least one thing from each one (did anyone else know you can actually chat to a single person in the game by double-clicking on their name in the 3rd tab of the TAB menu) ?

Whisper? Ya, I use it all the time. Its also useful for seeing if a player has a name hack. But then again, 30% of players have a different display name due to screwed up EA accounts anyway...

Im glad you liked them. What you described was the whole reason why I made them.

They are a bit "entry" level, but I tried to add a few extra things and not get too bogged down in strategy, just because everyone has their own style and like to play the gam they want to.

Thanks for putting up a link, I never really had the guts to do it as I kept the videos simple with no special bling. I just made them to help others learn about the kits and how to play the game. So many people ask the same questions over and over and some never learn any of the detailed stuff.
