Lag with VOIP

Okay, so i finally got VOIP to work and now i lag like crazy, now this doesnt add up because i used to play BF2, had VOIP, slower internet and no lag. I also played BF2142 with no lag + VOIP any ideas?

i know but seriously, i used to have hardwire through the telephone cables and now i have it directly through ethernet. something is not adding up........i even have more ram then i did before too

Try disabling your EAX, it has given some people problems.
