rite i need your guidance

i want to be able to play bf 2. i have

AMD athlon 1.7
1.25 gb ram

what graphics card do you recomend for playing it, it will need to be AGP, and i dont want to spend more than 100 pounds

What motherboard do you have Chris, does it have an AGP or PCI-E slot for the graphics card ?

It has AGP, PCI but no pci-e.

Did you try the link above, how was your pc rated ?

For under £100 the Ati x1950pro is probably the best card (£99.99 at dabs)
The Nvidia 7950GT is probably the best AGP card, but you'll be lucky to find one under £140.
If you want dx10 support, the HD2600xt is the only card I know of, but it doesn't perform as well as the others.

But of course you really need a new pc.
