Fall of Berlin - Coward glitchers.

Anyone who uses the building glitch where by you can slip into the textures and be totally invulnerable externally but not vice versa has no honour.

I'm seeing these low rank players getting something like 55 kills and 0 deaths in a round. Now unless you go and whore the APC (which I might add is extremely easy and there is no honour in that either) or Walker it is quite hard to get this type of K/D score. Bullets come flying out of the walls at you and there is simply nothing you can do. I joined a squad that was in the process of doing this and it so happens that at the top of the sky scraper (located near the first Euro spawn) there is a secret entrance and they all slip down that and parachute to the bottom while staying within the walls of the building. I tried to stay on course to TK the lot of them but I missed the landing and ended up outside of the building.

The trouble is that the particular server I play on at the moment for Fall of Berlin is an EA server, or is it?

Either way, no admin is ever on to stop these dis-honourable cowards.

That makes me mad too. It is not just that map though, it happens frequently on other maps as well. It is not just limited to Berlin maps. I was in a titan game defending the core when I kept getting shot from behind walls. Pissed me off to no end while they are in the next hallway. We won the round though. It is some hack that allows you to get into the walls. I don't remember the name of it either.

As for the low rank, they could be starting a new player and decided to cheat instead of play with honor, well, as much as there can be in war. That is dissappointing.

It's not always a hack but it has been a problem in games since the first days of 3d modeling. when the game designers make a model of a building they have to line all the sides and the roof up so there are no gaps in between. Sometimes they make a mistake and a tiny invisible gap is left. This can if approached from the right angle allow people to slip inside and dole out havoc.

That said i have been forced through the walls accidently on many many occasions and found myslef inside the titan or a building. Being an upstanding member of the gaming community i immediatly either suicide or try to leave. It is funniest when you end up in the enemy control room on a titan. I have wandered around for ages trying to get someone to kill me but they all just ignore you.

The Fall of Berlin server has people trying to vote kick every few seconds, the trouble is nobody really votes or can be bothered to vote. This might actually be a good thing though as people often try and vote kick off a player who is legitimately killing them alot.

That is just funny wandering around like a lamb in the wolve's lair, chill'in like one of the boys.

I understand you tried to get them to kill you but they assumed you where one of them, too funny. I hope you won the round.

Whether it is an exploit or poor programming it is still frustrating.

The problem is that you played on an EA server. Those are havens for cheaters. Go find a well adminined clan server to play in.

It's the reason why I don't touch fall of berlin anymore, the map is like swiss cheese. And the EA NL servers as a whole are badly moderated and this is common occurence, just avoid the servers like the plague.

Shame really because its a fun map when the PAC get past the first flag.

i highlighted this server before in another post ages ago. Put loads of screenies up of it as well with the culprits names.. couldnt finish the round until they agreed to come out of the wall....losers

Funny, after quite a while of staying away from these servers i just tried them again the other night and it was ridiculous.

1 guy in the building next to the pac spawn, 3 in the one next to the first flag, and one off to the right and then 3 in the building next to the second flag. I was PAC and needless to say we got raped so bad, worse than usual. Never going on FoB again.

BD-HQ FoB is decent from what I can tell. Today I let my brother play EA NL FoB and it was ridiculous as well.

Berlin itself was a terrible map, but those guys are getting some good training, cause the key to win our war in the middle east is to get our soldiers glitching in some buildings.:nod:

It would be great if you could legitimatly use the buildings proper but then I guess there would simply be too many campers.

I like this map a lot but because of glitchers I left it I never play there anymore.

I never play FoB anymore. Got tired of being raped all the time. i didn't know about the wall glitches on that map. Maybe, that explains the fire comming from places where I couldn't see anyone...such a shame. Then it's guys like these that make us suspect everyone is cheating when they are playing a diesant game. Personally, I am a big fan of Camp Gibralter and I play on a well admined server.
