A question about the M16

Hey all!

I got this game for x-mas and I've been having a blast. I noticed however that some people have a different M16 than the default one.. My M16 the end of the gun is kind of boxy and the ones I have seen in the map are rounded at the end. Does anyone know if I am able to get the rounded one by completing some challenge or do I have to do something different to get that gun.. like get top rank or something. Thanks in advance.

Well, the challenges for total kills changes that. see when you get 25 kills, you unlock the Red dot scope. Attach this, and it removes the grenade launcher, giving you the round look. Also, the AGOC and the silencer do it. Alternately if you want the round, without unlocking things, when you choose the M16 with your custom layout, choose "No attachment" and then a blue perk. It will remove the grenade launcher and give you a round end.

You could be possibly confusing the M16 with the M4 Carbine, (its shorter, fully auto sister).

No, he's talking about the forward part of the gun (at a loss for words). How the base M16 has the almost triangular front end that houses the M203.
