Best *stealth* kit Primary weapon?

I discovered the absolute joy that is a silenced weapon + UAV jamming last night, and repeatedly got MVP on TDM games, and just generally had a whole lot of fun. Totally opened my eyes, I had no idea how reliant on the radar we are. Anyhow, I've been trying to figure out what the best primary weapon is, and I'd love some input from more experienced players.

I was using a silenced MP5 last night, and that seemed to work pretty brilliantly, I went like 45-10 or something on a lot of maps, and that made me really happy, it's good for me. I just unlocked the G36C, so I'm using it for the XP and to get a silencer on it, and it seems cool too, but I keep reading about how the M4 Carbine is better anyway (which is too bad).

So, then I was thinking that even though everyone says the P90 is for noobs, I am in fact a total noob, so I'm about to unlock it and I thought maybe if I silenced it it'd be good for my stealth kit.

Thoughts? I tried the AK-47, which is my favorite AR, with the silencer on and I hated it, the MP5 just suited the kit better for me.

I like the G36c because it is sronger that the mp5 and m4, but it is single shot, this doesnt really bother me though.

Anyway, for silencers, the weapons are the same. M4/MP5, depending on your twitch level. The only thing to take into account is that the range reduction is pretty dramatic.

If your choices for silent are between M4A1 and MP5, pick M4A1. Personally, I like the AK47 silenced combo. The reason is, it "feels" still strong and even at distance, youll have 3 shot kills.

What do you think about the P90 vs. the MP5 / M4? (And what do you mean as far as twitch level, like which one would be the more "advanced" option?)

Or, I guess I should give the AK47 silenced another try, I like how it sounds.

I use P90, G36C or MP5 silenced and for different reasons.

I only use the P90 when playing against other P90 users. The G36C I use for larger maps when I need to be silent and the MP5 for CQC on Showdown, Wet Works, Vacant and Shipment. But, this is just a generality.

I frequently take a Shottie to CQC and M21/Skorpion (or another SMG) with Overkill for the larger maps with few players.

I use either P90 myself, but I have an AK and M4 in my 2 other "secondary" stealth classes.

My absolute favorite class:

M4, silenced, red tiger camo
silenced M9

Claymores
UAV jammer
Dead silence (less sound when you move)

Stealth can be absolutely deadly in this game, it's definitely my favorite way to play. I think UAV jammer is underrated, people get too secure when some uses their UAV and everyone checks their map and they don't see any close red dots. When the enemy has their UAV up is the best time to strike.

I personally prefer the M4 because:
1. I like having a little more range then the MP5 and P90 for when I need it
2. It has enough power to take a couple of guys down if I need to, even if its not the best.
3. I like having a big enough mag so if I find myself in a sticky situation I knock off a few guys easy with auto instead of 3-round-burst or semi-auto, but I don't eat through ammo like the P90.

With that said, my stealth kit:

M4, Silenced
Desert Eagle - I don't need a silenced pistol when my M4 is there and it comes in handy having the extra power.
Claymore x2
UAV Jammer
Deadly Silence


But, my last piece of advise is to not take any advise and just try out a bunch of stuff. That is one part of what makes COD4 so much fun.

^^ was sabotage last night on pipeline, our guy planted the bomb and got wasted i sat back miles away and just saw black dots running around the bomb, i just constantly tapped my fire button and wasted all of them and the bomb detonated. One guy was speccing me and askd for my set-up. lol.

other then them two, i use any weapon with a silencer, most recently the mini-uzi, its a damn little headshot machine!

stealth is the way to go, people do get to reliant on the minimap

When Stealthing about, I choose a silenced G36c or M4. I'd use the MP5, but I've already completed all the challenges for it, but it should do well for a Stealth gun too.

But on any other map I will use the M4 with the same set up, I like the way the M4 feels with a silencer.

I hit 40 last night and unlocked the P90, and knocked off the first 2 weapon challenges asap so I could silence the baby and test it out in my favorite stealth kit...

Um. WTF? Dude. DUUUDE. I went like 56 and 10 or something ridiculous like that. The thing is a little bullet hose, but with the bandolier you can last forever, just sneaking around and popping folks when you find them, and it has such a huge magazine that you can reliably kill a couple of people if you surprise them.

CRAZY.

So, suffice to say, I'm sticking with the P90 for now. The M4 is nice too, but my playstyle at this point is all about sneaking around behind the enemy with my UAV Jammer and silencing and stuff, so I don't really have to worry about long shots, and the P90 seems to be the CQB king.
