    BF2 Crashes to Desktop

BF2 loads fine and all but when it gets done loading it crashes to desktop. I went into settings after it was loaded and changed some video settings but when I tried audio settings it immediately crashed to desktop. Does this mean I have an issue with the audio drivers I have? Can anyone please advise?

i'm no expert but u can try to download fresh patch of 1.41 and try reinstalling it. if that doesnt work try deleting ur battlefield 2 folder in my documents, when u reboot the game it will make a new one.

      Maybe this could help...

Disable all audio devices, except primary sound device. (Right click "This Computer" > Properties > Devices)

I had the same problem... Found the answer here... On TotalGamingNetwork..... And it worked

Do you use Xfire ? If so, disable it and try again.
