Golden Guns

I searched and didn't find anything...

Simple question:

Does the golden skin increase your weapons damage? If not, I'll stick to my M40, I just like showing off the gold skins... but somebody in a server said it increases damage...

Is this true?

No. The gold is just a skin, like the other camo.

Nope, no real benefit.

People who pick it up might spend a few seconds admiring it though. I know I did, died one or two times doing so. :p

How do you unlock the gold camo for a particular weapon?

you have to complete all the weapon challenges for a certain class of weapons to unlock the gold gun for that set of weapons. The gold weapons you can achieve are:

Assault: AK47
SMG: Mini Uzi
LMG: M60
Shotgun: M1014
Sniper: SVD (Dragonov)

the only real reason im still playing this game after level 55 is completing the challenges, now that i have i can sit back and enjoy the game with all of the equipment.

I really am starting to enjoy this game more for fun than for stats now.

Agree completelly.
I have so much fun now getting challenges and playing per se, noe that i'm also a 55 level, than before.
Like playing in Vacant with an MP44... :p for example, or a lot of funny things i wouldn't think off before... this game is really fun. :)

Yes, the Golden Gun is always a one hit kill, but the rate of fire is really low.
