I just got this game and afther I installed, I tried to join a game, i got disconnected and a message popped up that said: "this server only allows players with unmodified content to join. Revert your version of battlefield 2142 to the current official version to join"
I got no idea what to do I uninstalled and installed again but it didnt work....

yea, ive installed it also and im getting the same error.... whats going on....
havent played in months decided to fire it up tonight and now im getting this error...... anyone help...

Follow those instructions and manually uninstall the game and that should help.
I'm not sure about the patch itself but i downloaded mine from a different site. Most of the maps work except Shiua Taiba and Camp Gibraltar for me.
