Serious HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK... the main thing is my BF2142 has been laggy since i bought it.(in APRIL) i get an average 10-15fps when ever i play, 20fps if there is less then 10 people on the server. anyways what really gets me mad is when i take the same video card and the same amount of memory(RAM)and put it in another computer (with a lower processor), and play BF2142 on it, it runs smooth i could play a 48 manned titans server with around 35-40fps. it really doesnt make sense because the "laggy" computer runs BF2 on medium setting at 20-30fps i kno its not my video card or not having enough memory it has to be something else????
SO IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME, IM IN NEED!!!!:cry:

Make sure you are using the a good current drivers for the graphics card, not a beta one. If you have moved the card / ram into another PC then that proves they are working OK. Try a good defrag of your HD along with a good scan for any spy ware that may be on the drive. Good luck.

Viruses , I had tons of the buggars, lol.
I had alot of procceses running that I shouldnt have , press ctrl+alt+delete and click on process and see what is running,if it's saying your running something or if there are loads of one thing (apart from svchost) then Id check for viruses/spyware
Or you could do what I did and do a complete install of windows :)

i know its doesnt have anything to do with the drivers because i first used the driver from the cd that came with the card, and then updated off the website when i bought a new hardrive from the site again.. getting rid of that option.
I know its not viruses or anything because its a new hardrive, and when i first put in the hardrive i mediately installed BF2142 knowing there wasnt any background tasks or viruses, and it was still very laggy :'(, so it has to be something else. i still need help anyone
