Ok, so I heard about someone on the forum putting their headphones in wrong, and then the multiplayer worked, when it didn't before. I tried all sorts of other stuff, but then I did that, and it worked! When I exited the game, and took the headphones out of the ports, and turned the game back on, it didn't work anymore!

What the hell is going on?

are you sure its just the headphones? i don't see why something like that would make it not work

Maybe the game doesn't work with your soundcard, but unplugging the headphones disables it?
