Great Start to My New Year :( pls help connection lost problenm

Sorry bout the long post. Well let me start with, I have a Xps M1710, Verizon Fios connection. When the game works it runs silk smooth and great. Ever since I purchased this game I have had problems. I have done the manual delete then reinstall 7 times in the past 6months and it always has fixed my problems for about a month then something new happens. Now starting today Jan 1, 08 (happy newyr by the way)

I wake up this morning and decide to play. Well I get CONNECTION LOST TO SERVER after about 2 minutes or less on every sever I try. So I followed the manual uninstall instructions did that reinstalled then reinstalled 1.40. and same thing.

So this time I try the manual uninstall again then re-download the patch online, in case the patchs updated or something. Reinstalled game, installed patch 1.40 An the same darn thing connection lost to the server. Every server
works perfect for 1 min or 2, then bam, no matter what I do, any help will be great, I just hooked up my computer souround speakers today that I havnt used in about a year sounds amazing for the minute I play, bummer

Edit: I just looked back on my past post, and this connection lost to server sounds kinda like one of my previous problems, witch I remembered how I fixed that, was by doing the manual uninstall then reinstalling the game, and re downloading the patch off the internet, then installed the patch and worked, but I tried that tonight for this problem and It didnt fix it this time So ya Im very frustrated I cant believe Ea can get away with a game that has so many problems. I love playing it so much tho.

So any one who can help will make my year so far. Thanks

Lost connection

Sound's like a PB issue, try a manual upgrade. The instruction's are in a sticky

Just try updating PB if that doesnt work try the ''radial fix''

well I haven't done the pb update, I gave up for a few days, well today I started playing again and it worked for 2 rounds then I got connection lost in the middle of the third round, I restarted the game same problem. After trying diffrent servers about 2 or 3mins in game (connection lost to server) every server. I guess I will try the pb man update even tho when i lose connection it doesn't mention anything about pb. I will try the renaming of the radial file too. I have had to do that a few times in the past for 75% map load freeze. Man I was so happy earlier today when it was working.

My question even tho it just says connection lost to server, could that still be a pb problem? I thought when its something to do with punk buster it tells you on the bottom of the screen in white font before you get kicked, then tells you punkbuster kick pop up window. But I dont know

I have similar problems to Heyitsme but I've located the two maps which die on me everytime i try to play it online. It's Camp Gilbratar and Shuia Taiba. Every time i disconnect, it was a memory.dLL error. I'm quite sure with my computer setup is not memory error but file error.

I check the bf2142 patch installation notes and these two caught my attention:

1. "Applying MODIFY File Patch for 'mods\bf2142\Levels\Camp_Gibraltar\archive.md5'

warning wpt0036: Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was

and

In your case bulletproof I would complety un-install and then re-install. Your problem doesn't sound anything like the issue in this thread
