Ok, so i've been using the M14 for a little while now and love it. My playing style is always to use the uav jammer on perk 2, but decided to try the M14 with stopping power. The M14 with a silencer/UAV Jammer/steady aim is a two shot kill. With stopping power the M14 is still a two shot kill! This does not make since to me. Shouldn't this make the M14 one shot kill. The sniper rifles are two shots to the body, but with stopping power are one shot. Why is this not the same for the M14. Is this a glitch or what?:salute:
M14 and Stopping Power?

well answering your question i'd say balance, to have a 1 hit kill assault rifle in normal mode would be too harsh, especially considering the other weapons damage in normalOriginally posted by Support_HogI know HC is one shot, but that wasn't my question.Comment

M14 is a 50 hitpoint rifle, and is one of the few rifles that doesnt fall under the "-1 shot" category. So no, Stopping Power on M14 is literally a wasted perk, unless youre fighting an army of juggernauts.Comment

Youre not stupid if you shoot for the neck or head, which gives a 1.5 damage multiplier, in which case stopping power does indeed become a 1 shot 1 kill weapon. But if youre going for bodyshots, it literally wont matter. I dont really know about HC mode though, do some experimenting and get back with some results :)Comment

Well, i don't think that the 2 shots will cause any trouble...
I have been hitting the marks with pretty solid accuracy lately. Thanks to the Red dot and all the n00bs for not paying any attention..
