Thinking about buying this game

I'm thinking about buying CoD4 for the PS3 (my ancient PC will NOT run the demo at anything above 20 frames per second) and I was wondering whether this game is actually worth it. The singleplayer is short, but what of the multiplayer? I'm kind of turned off at the lack of vehicles and such. How fun is it?

There is no better game than CoD4 for PS3 right now. You won't regret getting it.

I think that you will like COD4 MP if you liked BF infantry combat.
Sure there are no controllable vehicles, but if you feel the need to be stomped flat from above, you will be happy to know that Helicopters and Air strikes will happen regularly
