is this a good graphics card for gaming?

Anyway, I don't think its an exceptionally good card, I would recommend getting an 8800gt.

i use the 8600. ill need to ask wich one cuz i got it for xmas and the only thing i know is that it is a nvidea 8600 but its awesome. i can run everything on high and it runs really sooth. the only downside is that the graficscard is really hot. its 50 degrees(c) when running normally and 80 degrees(c) when gaming. so if you want to overclock them you need a really good fan.

The 8600 will do just fine for BF and other a little older games... Don't expect to be able to get the best performance with it on newer games though.
