    CyboPat's CoD4Player

Found this program over in the IW forums, it enables you to open the CoD4 .dm_1 files from your desktop and control the playback using your numberpad.

The tool allows you to use view the demos in slowmotion, speed up playback, pause demo, toggle HUD info and allows you to toggle between first and third person view by the press of a button.

    It was created by CyboPat.

More information and the download can be found here.

The site says it hasn't been tested in Vista, I run it through vista with no problems!

Nice, that should come in handy.
      So it's similar to battlelauncher/director for BF2?

          BattleDirector and BattleRecorder

Sorry I had to. I run a movie making community for BF2..gotta correct people :yay::yay:

And can it remove the names??????

EDIT: ya it removes names. Just wish I had a fluid control that I could orbit my character in any direction, up down left right..you know..but hey maybe eventually??

Was using it today... playing one of my demos.

The slow motion is SICK. It looks spectacular when you go into slow-mo, for each kill, and then back to normal, then fast forward... then normal, than slow-mo when you start shooting... This is a must for Frag Video makers.

                  Looks pretty slick.

This should probably be made into an official post/sticky in one of the News/Mod News/or Media sections. Looks very useful for movie makers.

I make BF2 movies too ... I'm just too lazy to type both names in their entirety. :)

I just tried this out today and it sort of caused a problem. I opened a demo from .../main/demos and played through it fine, but then I went to play regular MP and my stats/unlocks were screwed up. It thought I was the same rank at the time of the demo that I'd played; I got error messages when I tried to customize a class with a gun that I should not have unlocked at that point.

                        Anybody had this?

I could imagine this being a problem... but it didn't happen to me...

I think you should open the demos from the ModWarfare section, instead of the main.

                            that doesn't make much sense.
