OK,

I "captured" an enemy vehicle, drove it to "our side" of the map far away from spawn points, but still in bounds, got out of it, walked back to where the action is (taking forever btw!) and a few minutes later, the enemy has their vehicle back. WHy is that?! That isn't right at all. It's hard enough to capture the thing, I should be able to hide it so they can't use it themselves until it's destroyed!

Any thoughts?

Obviously in your case it's pretty frustrating, it's needed though otherwise vehicles would be scattered everywhere and not spawning.

Yeah. I could just as easily steal jets and helis, and you would never see them again for the duration of the round. They were forced to give them damage for inactivity...

yep vehicles will blow up after about 30-60 seconds of not being used.

yea vehicles have tickets like any other destroyable thing in the game. after it loses a certian amount maybye only one, it starts to self destruct. for example, the FAV has 750 tickets, and after it loses a few (hitting rocks etc.) it begins to, well... i already said that, self destruckt

Yeah otherwise I'd have my own garage full of jeeps and heli's.
