Hardcore!!!!!!!

Well i`ve played Hardcore all day now and this is my thoughts on it... Hardcore is for the skilless players who cant play the game in normal mode, Hardcore is just sooo easy my 7 year old nephew can get decent scores in it... Its full of campers that wont move anywhere because they are afraid of being killed... Now i can see why so many people like hardcore.. because they can achive those score they cant get on normal modes...

The argument can go either way. Regular is hard because it gives everybody an equal oppurtunity to kill. Weapons do less damage giving you more time to react, it takes longer for a helicopter to kill you, and you have an always active radar to let you know where the enemies are.

Hardcore mode, you have to earn the UAV's (well, you know what I mean), and if you don't play smart, you die. This being said, most people camp in order to stay safe, but they don't get positive scores. The people who can navigate their way, with the most skill, through a map, come out on top.

It can go either way, you spray an m249 in hardcore you do well, or you use jugernaut in regular and you do well. Don't be so ignorant of play styles.

And I'm assuming you are that 7 year old cousin? With that kind of posting - for being a 43-year-old, you don't act very mature.

It depends on the players gaming style, if your prefer to assault and you choose hardcore you need a little skill to dodge the other shots.

If your a camper its like heaven you just sit and shoot, pointless but hey.

The normal game type aint bad, but I find it a bit boring shooting someone 80 times before they drop.

I think hardcore is a little more fun, the lack of a HUD make it a little more interesting, I enjoy HD servers more than normal servers.

You probably get just as many campers on a normal server as you do a hardcore server it just takes them more bullets to kill you.

Good opinions. I play both. I do a lot better in regular mode than hardcore myself.

I like HC because it slows the game down a little and the weirdest things tend to happen because of how powerful everything is and there is no maps or alertings. I think its funny when people have an LMG and all you hear is a tap or two from it. In Regular mode its BLARING!

I also found that the heli doesnt seem to be as affective in HC. Maybe thats just me, but it doesnt seem to last as long in the air and tends to hover around more.

Anyway, to each his own. I love both modes and HC is my crutch.

if you notice all the campers will get 20-30/10 kdr.. if you get one guy with a 25/6 kdr and another with 25/18 kdr you know who the camper is. and really how much skill does it take to camp.

Nope seriously my 7 year old nephew played on our hardcore server on boxing day when he visited and did well, not bad for a young kid who has never played the game before. As for being 43, does that forbid me from having an opinion? If my opinion doesnt conform to your way of thinking im sorry but as you are entitled to your opinion I should have the same right to view mine.

the reason the helo dont have the same impact is because everyone is camping inside buildings and not running around..

personally my opinion is that hardcore is harder, i played it for the first time yesterday and i was getting owned. on normal i can consistently stay in the top 3. I think it is a matter of personal preference.

eh i somewhat have to agree, most of the HC games ive played everyones running with lmgs and just spamming it everywhere knowing it only takes 2 shots to kill someone...

still HC has its perks, you dont have to put a mag into a juganought for them to turn and kill you

There will be no crosshairs on-screen, no ammo/nade counter, and the mini-map will only show up when a UAV is activated.

There is unfortunately no icon that shows up in the in-game browser to indicate hardcore or not (hopefully it will be added eventually), but some servers have "HC" or something like that listed in their server name.

I like both modes. When I'm getting tired of either I switch to another. As someone said - it's the matter of personal preference.

Ok dude. Seriously, stop being so damn aggressive. You obviously have not played in Hardcore mode for very long, and you obviously haven't found the good servers. When I play, there is usually only ONE guy camping. And he sucks at it. Alright? And those guys that get "20-30/10 kdr" probably happen to actually be good enough to stay alive. in fact I'm a big one on non camping, and I get those scores ALL the time.

And the "how much skill does it take to camp?" Ya, if you can do it right, it actually takes quite a bit of skill to camp correctly. Because all you need is a stray bullet to kill someone, so camping is hard if you have a big gun (I.E. LMG) and you are constantly killing people. They will know where you are and kill you easily.

You do know that the Helo does MORE in hardcore right? And, the Helo shoots INTO buildings. Seriously I've been killed MANY times taking cover.

And thats another thing, maybe they AREN'T camping? Maybe they are taking cover??


So really you want to make an argument, go play about 50 hours on a good Hardcore server THEN make an opinion. I have WELL over 100 hours on both types, and Hardcore is my personal favorite because of people like you.


Another thing, you like having to put multiple shots into someone's head before they go down? You like having a half clip spent, then they turn on you and you end up dead? Most hardcore players play it because you only need one shot.
