Your character's appearance is based on two things: which team you choose (SAS, Spetsnaz, USMC Desert, USMC Woodland, and OpFor), and what your primary weapon is (Assault, SMG, LMG, Shotgun, Sniper). Your look is automatically generated based on these two choices. You cannot customize your character's appearance beyond that, without downloading a skin mod for single-player use.
