Hackers already invading the game!

I was on TCA-Search & Destroy server on my new account ''SearchDestro'' and suddenly people began to think that a guy named ''BenZ'' was cheating, well i was walking with him through Vacant and didn't notice anything actually, except that he got some headshots with the M60 but that's no rare thing.

So the round after that i naded myself and started to spectate him and yes.....he was hacking, not a extreme aimbot or something but he had no recoil and no sway and auto aimed for the head (yes, aimbot but no extreme like sit in the middle to pwn aimbot) Visited the well known hack site and found out that there was indeed such a cheat on that site.

So i was waiting till our good friend Punkbuster would kick him, but nothing! So WE, the good non hackers need to update PB every week so it won't kick the good players and the hackers just get away from it? Just go to hell PunkBuster your software sucks and maybe even EA themselves can create a better anti cheat program....

Luckily the server had Call Vote enabled and he was immediately voted away.

So excuse me if you found this thread offensive one way or another, but i just needed to vent...

Yeah i have noticed alot of people wall hacking but hopefully PB can catch most of them.

A single hacker is hardly an invasion.

I have yet to see one, but I do get frequently kicked for supposedly hacking. It was funny at first, now it's getting boring.

Well, I've only made a positive confirmation of hacking on one individual since I started playing.

Though, I "assume" quit abit that people are hacking. You have to understand that the hit detection is funky and sometimes someone can go on a "luck" hit streak. I know I have.

But I do want to warn everyone to watch out for the .r2 clan. I frequent the Addicted.2.games servers and they USED to come in there until they where booted. But watch out for them, they aren't descrete about it.

I have seen more and more hackers lately, that guy BenZ wasn't the first one i saw. The worst i've seen so far was a guy who was in the middle of Crossfire and shot everybody that had the balls to or cross the street ok poke his head around the corner. And yes, he was cheating i spectated that guy too, but that server didn't had Call Vote.

So really a request to every Server Owner here: Please at least stream to PBBans, so if they ever got caught they will be banned again. Also take frequent PB screens.

Truth is that as long as their are humans roaming this planet a cheater wont be far from sight! Its sad but its true. ~ Wether it be online or in real life.

Best thing to combat those lonely little people is to find a decent server which has admins about, if anything fishy arises the admins can get a PBSS in a matter of minutes which will determine whether the player is dodgy or not.

Just find a decent server with admins about and ignore the server that are poorly admined, for every game theres going to be some sort of exploit/hack out there, it would be near enough impossible for IW and PB to combat them all.

The huge advantage of PB is that admins can take a client-side screenshot which even allows detection of cheats that would be impossible to detect otherwise unless cheat-protection detects the hacked files. They just have to start using that feature.

Right now every noob has an own server and you can't expect them all to know how to detect a cheater, but it'll get only better with time.
While PB is an annoying piece of crap, badly implemented and all, it still gives a good admin the opportunity to detect most cheats.

PBBans has 491 players banned from COD 4 so far. Last night I saw a classic aimbot in motion (Player was looking in one direction and all of a sudden he was facing the other way and did a headshot with a pistol. I banned him immediately.

Don't worry about the occasional aimbotter. PB has access to all the hack sites and gets the hacks just like the losers that use them. They then disect them and make it so they are detected. No game can be 100% hack free and there will always be someone out there that will hack so we'll have to live with it.

Dunno know what's more annoying; cheaters or n00bs crying "OMG HaXOr!!" when they get headshot...
