Shader / Texture issues

Hi all, I'm having a bit of a whacky bug with my CoD4. Most of the textures for the grass and player models go completely black when I'm playing. Its not all the time and it seems to happen more when the affected area is in shadow. Also randomly I'll get planes and walls of color that shift as I turn around. They usually appear when im facing one particular direction. See attached pictures.

Heres what I'm running:

AMD64 4200+ X2
nVidia 7900GTX 512mb w/ 163.75 drivers
2GB PC-3200
Abit Kn9 mobo

CoD4 is patched to 1.4, but it was doing the same thing in 1.3

Yep, we've seen similar pix from others. You need to update your video card drivers.

First, go to the nvidia website and download the very latest official drivers and try them out.

If they do not fix the problem, you can also try the "Beta" drivers (these are much more stable than in the past, so don't be afraid of them ).

But, give the official ones a try first. I believe the current version is 169.21
