    Patch 1.4 = So bad, must be a virus

    How do I un-install patch 1.4? It's so bad, I classify it as a serious virus infection. Thanks to it, online is almost unplayable.

      Uninstall CoD4, reinstall, patch to 1.3.

      Be sure to back up your mpdata file though, or your entire profile folder.

          I'd recommend definitely backing up the whole Profile folder - both because some people have found their 'mpdata' not to work without the other files, and it will save single-player progress as well.
