    Silencer increase RECOIL?

I found that if the weapon used silencer the weapon will produced more recoil,

    is it true?

I disagree, maybe your using different perks that could be effecting the recoil?

Silencers give less damage over range but I dont think it increases recoil.

well in theory because when you use a silencer you typically use subsonic ammo the range and damage of the gun should decrease, along with the recoil. dont know how they made it work in the game though.

I don't care as long as my silenced M14 kills with one shot on HC without SP.

        Which it does

Silenced G3 owns in HCore but IMO the silencer REDUCES recoil in the game. That's what it seems like to me anyway. And BTW Maze you made one of the most annoying threads EVER, your Is The P90 Overpowered? thread, and this thread is pretty pointless also.

Silencer w/ Double tab is deadly (like a laser because of the decreased recoil) in H-Core. Decreases damage over range, but that doesn't matter with your spitting bullets that fly straight and true. Sucks on guns with horrible iron sights though. P90 (Bandolir), MP5 and G36 are guns I like it on, reduces recoil. Can't stand iron sights on the M16 and M4, but I could picture if your used to them they'd be good.

GG, you disagree with the person so you slam their threads... if they were so bad Sniper would have done away with them.

In real life, a silencer reduces recoil due to the extra weight on the front of your gun holding it steady when a bullet is fired. Since most silencers are made to be light, though, this effect isn't all that great. In the game, I don't see any difference myself..

hmm i thought silencer increases recoil too, it just felt like it's harder to control long bursts but maybe that's just me.

I see no change in recoil at all when equipping a silencer.

I seem to find it decreases it, I find some guns (G36C, M4 etc) much easier to use when equipped with a silencer, each to their own tho.

I've often wondered if silencers do more than sacrifice damage over range for stealth, something about them just makes the gun feel different for me.

For me it seems like there is less recoil, but that could be just my perception because there aren't loud firing sounds pounding into my ears. I reall don't think there is more. From my point of view there is either less or no change.

Also, i think the mussel flash is reduced with a suppressor, so it may feel like you can aim better "mid-burst" because your view is less obscured?

i have found it reduced recoil on many guns, especially the M14.

I find it harder to fire with the silencer.

i think it's because the lack of feedback in movement, sound, and muzzleflash. so when you're not used to the lack of these things, it makes it seem like its harder to use.

I've found the silencer to not do anything besides drastically decrease my weapon's damage over range (which it should), at the cost of not appearing on radar when you fire.
