wow you'd rather use iron sights than red dot?

        Here's my setup:

        MP5 with Red Dot Scope
        USP .45

        Perks:

        Stopping power
        Deep Impact

That setup usually gets me around 200 points on old school mode.

RPD Red Tiger, Front grip,w/ Stopping and steady aim perks. Ive used this gun since the day it came out and never really felt the need to use anything else.

              Hmmm that depends.

              But my favorite combos are...

M16A4+ACOG; M9 ; Bandolier; Stopping Power; Steady Aim

M14+ACOG; M9; Bandolier; Jugernaught (Saved me from snipas so many times); Steady Aim.

I use smoke grenades with them all. And I got red tiger on both of em hehe.

yeah that's the exact kit i put together as my first real kickass kit. it gets you loads of kills, and i really think the iron sights on RPD is so good that you can sacrifice the red dot/ACOG for the grip.

m4 with silencer or red dot depending on what map im playing. i use bandolier, stopping power and deep penetration perks on most of my custom slots except for shotguns which i use sleight of hand and martyrdom with the auto shotty.

i hate the iron sight on the m4(m16 as well since they are the same) because its too blurry to be of much use at range, but most of the time im using the m4 in cqc. i would use the acog if it didnt suck, but it still does.

the M16 is a very good gun.
I used it for a while, in a "silenced class"
                      M16A4 with silencer
                      Bandollier
                      Uav Jammer
                      Deep Impact
                      USP w/silencer

I owned with it on one round, i got a lot of challenges, including unlocking the blue tiger camo with it.. something like almost 70 kills with it... The M16 is rather easy to handle with ironsights, and it's very accurate and hard-hitting. It's ideal for a silenced mid-range fight, and not bad at cqb, if you're fast to aim, it happened to me.

But my actual setup is an overkill combo, experimenting a little for my 2nd weapon, but as of now is:
                      M4+ACOG
                      Bandollier
                      Overkill - M14 w/red dot
                      Steady Aim

I usually use the G3 w/red dot, instead of the M14, but i have to get used to the M-14, its a cool weapon.

The M16 is my workhorse weapon. It's just too deadly in all circumstances. You can out-snipe snipers, one shot SMG's in CQC, and mid range is already yours in the first place. It's easy to use, I admit it, but once you have it mastered (not just good with it, anyone can be good with it) you're basically a threat in all circumstances.

On topic though, the G36 has been my flavor of the week this week, and I think I'm turning it into my permanent CQC weapon. Yeah, it's a slower shooting M4, but it has much less sway, and thus is much more stable than the M4. This means that you have a higher probability of your shots landing at all ranges... that's just too much to pass over. It's a three shot kill with stopping power, it's recoil is slim, and its stability is the best of the automatic AR's. Very versatile. I can use it at long range bursting it, and it's full auto gives me CQC power. Damned good gun.

I've been thinking of going over into the MG part of town too. I was thinking that a good set-up would be RPD, front grip, sleight of hand, and deep penetration. Does DP actually increase the MG's penetration power? Someone told be the "large" weapon category was bugged, and I know DP increases your weapon's class for bullet penetration by one.

And, I'm not an SMG dude. But I was thinking of giving the Skorpion, Sleight of Hand, and Steady Aim a run.

My fav has to be the M60, grip, stopping power, steady aim. It friggin owns. I've been running the G36C, the russian sniper rifle (D-something), claymores, overkill, iron lungs. I like that set up for most maps. I just started fooling around with SMGs and the shotties. Don't really have any preference or setups with them yet.
