Map booting problem

Ok guys i just installed the complete set on my little bros comp, but the problem is when i start a Multiplayer map it loads half way then shuts dont
Bf2, or it says it is changing the shaders then freezes, he has a Geforce 7950GT that i jsut updated so it shouldnt be a problem there, i dont know the specs but this comp runs other games fine with low pings! SO what should i do??

1st. everyone is going to tell you to reinstall BF2 so you might wanna.
2nd. i had this problem a while ago and i forget how i fixed it but i think i ended up buying a new cd of bf2.
3rd. does bf2 shut down completely or just the loading part? because if the whole game shuts down its window's fault and you need to stop some programs in Task Manager but if the loading quits then you need to reinstall BF2
