Radeon 9600 series card with 6.12 drivers (last pre-Vista build ATI put out)
When I try flying up high in the chopper I start to see only 1/2 of the land at around 100 ft up and the other half of my screen turns into is a light blue/ grayish sky. It seemed like the guy I was gunning with could see a lot farther than me. He kept saying things like "he's straight out in front of us" but the objects he was talking about didn't get drawn on my screen until I moved in significantly closer.
I've currently got my game settings at "medium" for effects and geometry and low for everything else. I also have my Distance set at 100% so I'm at a loss for why I can't seem to see as far as others. Any suggestions?
Here's a pic of starting to see only "half" of my screen; Construction sight is 300 meters away and I'm at about 100 feet up. Is this a typical screen of what everybody else sees?
