Good to see that some of the folks here take advantage of the server and enjoy playing the AIX mod also. Those of you that play on the server let me know what I can do to improve it and keep it fun...

Please oh Please turn up the QUALITY SETTINGS on your DEMO recording.
I have been an admin of several BLKOPS servers (in the past..all down now).
Setting of THREE (03) renders non-choppy video AND is nice on the bandwidth. Please consider moving that quality setting off of negative 10 ..I mean 1.0. Demo Quality of 3 is a very nice version of give and take.


Examples of quality? SURE!

Here are BFDEMO SERVER settings at ONE:
Demo Quality = 1


Here are BFDEMO SERVER settings at THREE:
Demo Quality = 3

Speaking of MAP PACKS...

Our Aussie / Kiwi brothers have done a sick, sick job of providing content.

There are other maps out there to boost the challenge and variety levels off the map.

Please have a look at TheDarkMaps.

Good Christ, they're fun. Not much in the way of air vehicles, but all new maps with new strats / options / goodness.

I would love to host those other maps if you folks want me to but keep in mind I have a clan and 8 other server to tend to so if you could provide me with info on where I can get the maps I would be happy to add them to the rotation.

Tell you guys what, if there are any folks that play either AIX or NAW and have experience managing BF2 servers or light modding skills, I would love to have some help with the server.

I don't have time to teach people this stuff and to be honest I am not expert with tweaking the mods myself, however if you know what you are doing and are interested in helping me out, just let me know.

PS. No you do not have to join the clan to help out...

I am guessing you are on the forums now so if you get this hop on the server real quick and I will set you up with in game admin for both if you want...

I am logged in to BF2cc now so I will see you join. Also if you know how to do some light moding let me know and we can talk about that as well.

I set you up with in game admin tonight while you were on the server, so when you get a chance test it out and let me know if it works ok. If you know how to mod vehicle spawns that is what I am looking for with the AIX servers for now.

The way it is now, I simply don't have enough time to work on them as much as I would like to because I am currently tied up the clans expansion in to console & RTS gaming not to mention I am redoing the website and designing a custom theme for the forums.

I truly appreciate all the time and effort you are putting in to this and I am glad you enjoy the server.

Anyway we need to try to hook up on our TS server so we can discuss this further and get you set up.

I might be able to help you out with your web stuff. I'm a senior web designer for a major media outlet, so if you need any assistance with your site and forums, I can lend a hand.

Please don't go spreading that around though, I tend to get volunteered for a lot of things I didn't sign up for ... lol

Sounds good, I am kind of taking the weekend off from gaming but if we could hook up sometime next week that would be great...
