PB Related Issues!

Seems like Vista doesn't like PB, or is it just me?

Anyway, my problem is that I'm geting Innitialization Failures and Ignored Queries just recently. Running on a Core 2 Duo, 8800GT, 3 GB RAM.

The Motherboard was also recently reset.

I'm guessing it's a corrupt version of PB?

Any help would be appreciated.

If I can't get this resolved, I'll probably have to return to playing on the 7900GT. :/

Bah, you can't go back to that card when you've got a sexy 8800GT. Just need to start trying solutions.

First, have you tried updating PB recently? If not, you should do it manually...often, the auto-updates fail for whatever reason.

If you've already done that, suspect a corrupt PB version, then why completely uninstall it, restart your PC, then go to www.evenbalance.com and download a fresh, new version?

I've tried updating, that didn't help.

I'd do a full reinstall, but how do I uninstall it first?

Should be able to do it from the Windows Control Panel, with "Add/Remove Programs".

Was able to uninstall it there, but it took me a while to find out how to reinstall it. :p

Thanks, looks like it was a corrupt PB that caused the problem, haven't been kicked after 2 games. :)
