    Team Play Servers

With the loss of Squad Play all the way, I haven't been able to find a good server that consistently puts players that want to work well together in the same place. IF you can get into clan squads then you might sometimes find that kind of play, but its not often you do. Can someone list some good servers where people are encouraged to play well together?
I know I could join a clan, but I'm not interested in being that dedicated at the moment. Thx.

To be perfectly honest, it's the players who make the servers. If you filled monkey gamers or squadplay all the way with a bunch of tards, you'd be playing against a bunch of tards. Having "squadplay" in the server name shouldn't be the only precursor for having squadplay in a game.

Players who are motivated to play as a team are those who will make your game more enjoyable. I also start up a squad when I join a game, and I usually have it full quickly enough. I'm always on VOIP and I always issue orders. If you lead by example and do that yourself, then generally (although not always the case) - you'll get more enjoyment out of the game.

I rarely use VOIP cos am using Ventrilo. Although it is only me and Braveman playing at the mo, i tend to lock the squad a fair bit, depends on what mood am in, but if i have other people in my squad i know i will have a little chat on VOIP, but other than that i don't tend to use it, unless i want to vent anger at the noobs in my squad lol

But that's the most fun part of the game! If there's a noob in my squad I just tell them "look mate, you're useles to my squad" and boot them, and that goes for snipers too.

Generally though, Squad play was a place that people went to if they wanted to play in squads. I was wondering if anyone knew of a server that consistently has peopel that want t play together doing so.
I agree about starting squads myself, but the last few times I did so I got such poor members its tainted the whole idea for me.

I tend to join a squad so I don't get TS'd right at the end. If the leader is giving orders I will follow them but I often find myself fighting on my own regardless. No problem I usually make the medal table anyhow.

It''s usually just clan bois that play in well managed squads but sometimes you will get a round with good people playing and it enhances the game.

No offense to anyone that locks squads, doesn't use VOIP, or boots people because they aren't helping, so don't start the flames. As some have said, it is the players, not the server that make it good. We have had some excellent rounds on our servers and later that same day have a bunch of lone wolves. I have seen some rounds where everyone is in a squad and had others where halfway into the round, there are only 1-2 squads with only a couple members in each. If you want good squad play, you need to initiate it a lot of the time. Start a squad and invite people, but please don't invite people who are already in a squad. When they join, tell them thanks and what your general plan is. Using VOIP is a key. I am always on TS with my clanmates, but use VOIP when I have need to talk to squadmates that aren't in TS with me. Telling your squad where to spawn, which routes you are taking etc. makes a huge difference. If someone is not sticking with the squad or a "noob," tell them to stick together and why they should. Remember, everyone was new to the game at some point and experienced players should help the newbies learn the game, not tell them they are useless. The last thing any of us should be doing is ridiculing the newbies so that they get discouraged and wuit. It will only make the game die off faster.

I lock squads :|: Sometimes I like to fly and still play as squad leader with my clan mates, without having to worry about some noob spawning in my goonship and giving away my position by firing that blasted chaingun at nothing in particular.

Understandable. That and the guy in the gunners seat on your FAV that shoots at the tank/walker that you are trying to avoid.

                        Exactly

BTW, I got Jihaded again on your server :p These poor noobs don't understand that a walker is not invincible... They almost had me once with RDX (commanding and piloting the walker is somewhat difficult to balance), but a teammate saved me by killing the Recon. They they resort to the good ol' Jihad... Dang, it seems that everyone follows the saying that "A server without admins is a server without rules".

Yeah, I saw you talking to the first guy in chat through the cc program so took care of him but was busy at work when the second one happened. We have admins on a lot of the time but unfortunately like all the other servers we don't have them on all the time. Still, we get some really great rounds on our servers.
