What I noticed is that the very first time I refresh for servers it does so fine, anything after that I get 1000+ pings.

I kept resetting modem and router cuz i thought it was my internet connection...

The ping shown in the server browser shows the amount of time it takes to show up once you receive a response from the master server, AFAIK.

Patch 1.4 is a neo-virus. It attacks not only your install of C0D4, it attacks your internet connection.
